Sculpting with Copper and ceramics led me to jewelry making. I wanted the forms I made to be functional. I think of my jewelry as tiny wearable sculptures. I use sterling silver and gold, often mixing the metals. The textures of my jewelry remind the wearer that the metals came from the earth. My goal is to use simple, contemporary lines that make a statement.
