GaleForce Design
I’ve never been one to blend in, and my jewelry speaks to those who celebrate their wild side. From my studio in Fort Collins, Colorado, I handcraft acid-etched copper jewelry inspired by the rugged textures and intricate details of nature. I carefully transfer my designs onto copper sheets, then use acid to etch the patterns before cutting, sanding, shaping, and coloring each piece into wearable art.
My connection to the wilderness started as a child, immersing myself in the forest and lake on our family property. That bond grew stronger during my years as a wildland firefighter. From Engine Crew work in Minnesota to rappelling from helicopters with the USFS in Colorado, I witnessed the untamed strength of nature up close. Those experiences continue to shape my work, grounding each design in the grit and beauty I found in the field.
After leaving the fireline, I transitioned into graphic design and eventually became a Graphic Design Manager. This sharpened my eye for detail and storytelling, skills that now guide me in creating jewelry that carries the raw beauty of the wild for others to wear and enjoy.
