Ashley Akerlund is a fused glass artist from Almont, Colorado. She has been creating glass fusion art since 2008. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across many mountain towns of Colorado and in the UK. She is inspired by her three children and their refreshing viewpoints as well as her love of Colorado, where she is born and has lived her entire life.

 

Her art explores themes around Colorado's natural world, bold colors, and the versatility and abstractness of glass. From lively critters to picturesque mountain landscapes, each piece is hand crafted and one of a kind. Her technical abilities, eye for detail, and passion to create makes her glass exceptional, meaningful, and memorable.
