Peter Steele, an award-winning Colorado nature and landscape photographer with over three decades of experience, has developed a unique process called Solarography. This innovative technique, a fine art photographic alternative to stained glass, allows him to capture the beauty of windows without a view. These dynamic and durable pieces are designed to hang in windows illuminated by the sun, creating a captivating visual effect.

 

Peter’s artistic journey extends beyond his window-based creations. He recently developed a line of photographic night lights using a similar process, further expanding his unique offerings.

 

Peter is the co-founder and owner of the pARTiculars art gallery and teaching studio in Lafayette, Colorado, established in 2008. His work has been recognized and exhibited at the Aspen Emporium since its inception in 2011.
